Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Y'all!!

Colnel Rebel Party

Our Rebel family!!

the cute cake!!

I always try to have a birthday party for Vaiden closer to our old home, so his old friends can come play and celebrate his birthday with him. This year we had the party at Nana and PawPaw's house and we had a great time. It was an Ole Miss Colonel Rebel themed party and it was fun!! The kids played football in the yard and also jumped in the space jump we had rented. The weather got cold when the sun faded behind the trees, but the kids never seemed to mind it. It was such a fun party and I was so happy to see all our "old" friends!!

Hot Wheels Birthday Party

Michael and I with our 5 year old little boy!!

Whitten was trying really hard to blow out the candles!! Vaiden was trying to block that from happening!!

Vaiden wanted a Hot Wheels Birthday Party this year. So, we rented out the local skating rink and had a great party!! The kids got to skate, ride their bikes and scooters, and just run around. Sittie and G-Daddy drove up as well as Nana and Paw-Paw. Vaiden was so excited to have everyone there. It is still hard for me to belive that our big boy is now 5 years old this year:(

Santa Bubbles

I couldn't resist the night the boys had a bubble bath to take this picture...Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Christmas Parade

We had our annual city Christmas Parade the first Monday of December. It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be, which was so nice. The boys had so much fun this year. Vaiden was more excited about the hot chocolate than the actual parade. Whitten loved the lights and the music was his favorite!! We had a great time and look forward to it again next year!!

Happy Birthday Michael!!

Michael had his 34th Birthday on December 10th. He wanted me to cook him penne pasta with "dinner" bread...it's my aunt's recipe and it's delicious!! Michael didn't want a cake again this year...he wanted brownies with ice cream with the hard shell on top!! The boys loved it all too. We love you Daddy and hope you had a wonderful birthday!!

Snow in Canton...and the boys were there!!

Sittie and Whitten

Vaiden and Whitten with BB and Katie

It snowed in Canton on December 4th-5th and my boys were with their Sittie and G-Daddy to see it all. My mom has no camera so she sent Trey to get her a disposable camera. These are the best shots from the day. Vaiden wanted to be the photographer, so he was mad until he got the camera and took the rest of the pictures!!

Canton~City of Lights~

On the weekend after Thanksgiving, my parents and I took the boys to the Canton square to see all the lights, ride the fun rides, shop a little, and sip on some hot chocolate!! The boys loved the rides, but I truly think my parents love the square activities more!! I really think the boys give them a really good excuse to ride the rides...lol!!

G-Daddy had to sit Whitten up there...he thinks he is such a big boy!!

Santa visit...

This picture doesn't need much explaining!! Vaiden looked just like Whitten in his Santa pictures for his first 3 years of life. As you can tell by Vaiden's face, he really doesn't care to be sitting with Santa this year either!! lol!! Oh well, just another picture to add to their scrapbooks!!

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving was great and busy this year!! The boys and I had Thanksgiving lunch with my family at Katharine's house...don't be fooled...KK didn't cook, my mom brought it all to her house:) The food was delicious and of course, we had my mom's famous lemon ice box pie...yum!! We had a great lunch and the boys got to play in KK's backyard for awhile before we loaded up and drove to my in-laws. We had Thanksgiving Dinner with the Ellis' at their Hunting Cabin. It is so quiet and peaceful out there and my boys love it!! Sallie cooked a great dinner and we had a wonderful night visiting and watching football. Michael also took Vaiden on his first deer hunt. Vaiden was so excited about going!! He kept saying, "I am going hunting with my dad"!! They saw some deer but Michel decided not to shoot...thank God!! I am not sure how Vaiden would've done with all of that. He was just excited to have on his camouflage and be in a deer stand with his Daddy!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y'ALL!!

OM vs LSU

Ole Miss's last home football game of the year was against LSU!! My Uncle Chad and his family came up to visit and go to the game with us. We had an awesome time and I am so thankful they came here!! The weather was just right and the grove was packed!! We had a very full tent ourselves!! We had some entertainment and we had many fans stop and hangout with us for several hours. Once the game started, Melissia and I took all the boys home and got comfy in our pjs, grabbed a glass of wine, and watched the game on TV. About halftime, we got in the kitchen and cooked. This was the highlight of the weekend for me. Melissia is a great cook and I love to hangout in the kitchen visiting, cooking, and drinking a glass of wine with her!!

Even though they were tainted with some tiger ink...they were still so, so good!!

Thanksgiving Feast

Whitten's MMO had a Thanksgiving Feast for all the parents. It was so nice and we had our first taste of Thanksgiving food. Whitten's teacher, Mrs. Jamie, made him a turkey shirt....love it!! Once we got home, Whitten was "playing" with his art from MMO and decided he liked the stickers on himself rather than the sheet of paper Mrs. Jamie had for him. So cute:)

1969 OM Football Reunion

A couple of weeks ago when Ole Miss played Tennesse, Ole Miss reunited the 1969 Ole Miss Football Team!! My Dad was apart of that team. That same team won the Sugar Bowl in 1970. My mom, Katharine, Michael, Vaiden, Whitten, and I all wore buttons with my Daddy's college picture on it...so fun to see!! It was so much fun to see my Dad with his old college teammates!! The announcer acknowledged the team before the game started and Vaiden got to go out on the field with his G-Daddy. My Dad was more excited about that than he was anything else from the weekend!! Anyway, I was hoping to get the picture of the entire team on the field, but it hasn't been e-mailed out yet...I'll have to update later!! We love you G-Daddy and so proud you were a Ole Miss Rebel!!
