MS State Fair 2009

Every year we make the effort to go the MS State Fair. It was a cold fair this year, but still alot of fun!! We went with our friends, Angela and Sims, for the 4th year in a row. G-Daddy, Sittie, and KK joined us also...we had such a great time!!

This was Whitten's reaction to the end of EVERY ride!! He loved the fair and wanted to ride every ride all night long!! Hopefully, he will love it again next year!!

Ole Miss Grove fun with with friends

We had a big weekend when Ole Miss played Alabama. Our friends, Angela and Sims, came to stay with us for the weekend. My sister, Katharine, came up too!! We had a full house, but we had a lot of fun!! Ole Miss didn't play too well, but we had a great time in the Grove!!

"New to Us" Pumpkin Patch

Michael and I took the boys to a (new to us) pumpkin patch a couple of weekends ago, Cedar Hills Farms in Hernando, MS. It was so much fun and the weather was perfect!! We spent the whole day playing!! Here are some pictures from our day...

From sky view, the corn maze, was in the shape of a spider. Each fork in the path had questions about spiders and you had to choose right or left depending on your answer. With all of Michael's Discovery channel watching, we walked right through!! ha!!

Vaiden begged to have an underwater camera this summer, so his good behavior earned him one!! He loved taking pictures under the water at the pool. I had to take a few myself...here are a few good ones from the underwater camera!!

Beach Pictures are in...

When we were in Destin, Florida, this summer we had our pictures taken by great outdoors photography. I thought the pictures turned out great...here are some of my favorites!! Seeing these pictures, makes me want to go back to the beach right now!!

Nothing but rain and mud here!!

It rained here for 2 weeks solid!! We were inside for 2 weeks and my boys were not happy!! We are such an outside family and the rain really had us sad. The one good thing about rain is that it makes MUD!! We loaded up the wagon with dump trucks and boots and headed to the end of the neighborhood and found a huge mud hole. We so much fun playing. So happy to see the rain has stopped!!

We had our last swim a couple of weeks ago, when we visited Canton. We got to swim at the Priestley House again and it was so much fun!! One of my best childhood friends, Rebecca, and her daughter, Taylor, came to swim with us. Rebecca's mom, Susan, came by for a visit too!! We had a great time letting the kids swim in the COLD water!! We had lunch and then more swimming!! The kids had a blast...I just hate that summer is now over!!
