Pumpkin Carving

Michael and I took the boys outside on Sunday to carve pumpkins. Vaiden was really excited about doing this little project!! That excitment lasted just a couple of minutes and Michael and I were left to do it all. Vaiden chose an "easy" carving sketch from a carving book. It was a spider web with a spider at the bottom. It looked easy enough, but once we got started, it ended up taking forever!! The boys did enjoy making faces on their pumpkins with stickers...so I guess I should invest in those again for next year!! Overall, it was a lot of fun and since the weather was so nice, it made the day that much more fun!!

Ole Miss vs. Arkansas

We had a great day in Oxford on Saturday!! The weather was great football weather and the game was early, so we got to "play" in the Grove literally all day. We were all exhausted at the end of the day!! The Rebels won and played great, so that made the day that much better!! Hotty Toddy Rebels!!

Ole Miss had their homecoming last weekend and it was a cold one!! We enjoyed the Grove for the day and when game time came, Nana and I took the boys to the house!! We had a cup of hot chocolate and watched the game on TV!! Hotty Toddy Rebels!!

Pumpkin Courtyard

The local Episcopal Church has their courtyard full of pumpkins the whole month of October. The boys love to go and play in the pumpkins and pick out their favorites...and I love taking their pictures doing it!!

MS State Fair 2009

Every year we make the effort to go the MS State Fair. It was a cold fair this year, but still alot of fun!! We went with our friends, Angela and Sims, for the 4th year in a row. G-Daddy, Sittie, and KK joined us also...we had such a great time!!

This was Whitten's reaction to the end of EVERY ride!! He loved the fair and wanted to ride every ride all night long!! Hopefully, he will love it again next year!!

Ole Miss Grove fun with with friends

We had a big weekend when Ole Miss played Alabama. Our friends, Angela and Sims, came to stay with us for the weekend. My sister, Katharine, came up too!! We had a full house, but we had a lot of fun!! Ole Miss didn't play too well, but we had a great time in the Grove!!
