Family Patch Time

Every year, Michael and I take the kids to the pumpkin patch. This year we tried Fiddlin' Rooster Farm. It is a small, but fun little farm and the boys loved it. Mary Katharine rode on my chest all day and she loved it too!! Ha!! Here are some pictures from our day:

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Whitten's MMO class took a trip to St. Peter's Pumpkin Courtyard last week. The children loved it and as you can see, we attempted a class picture...this was the best I could get:)

Oxford Pumpkin Patch

Every year Michael and I take the children to play in the Pumpkin Courtyard at St. Peter's Church. They love playing in it and I love taking their pictures in it!! Vaiden wanted a big pumpkin and Whitten wanted a little one and Mary Katharine, as always, just went along with whatever we had planned for her!!

Ice Cream!!

When we were in Jackson a couple of weeks ago, Michael and I took the boys to Marble Slab to get some ice cream. It was so good and the boys loved it!!

Fair Fun!!

Fifteen years ago, October 6th, 1995, Michael and I had our first date to the MS State Fair. We always make a special effort to go each year especially now since we have children. My parents and sister, Katharine, went with us this year. Vaiden loves for G-Daddy to ride the bumper cars with him!! And Katharine always takes them to see the weird things hiding in the tents, i.e. the snake woman!!

Vaiden was tall enough to ride anything he wanted this year. He rode the Freak Out with me and said he liked it, but his facial expressions during the ride said otherwise!! I held his leg and tried curling my foot around his, so he would feel a little more safe...but I think he was totally freaking out inside!! That was one of his first rides, so all the others in the "kiddie" section seemed very boring to him after the Freak Out. His favorite again this year was the log ride. He loved getting wet, but really liked getting the unexpected passerby soaked!! Whitten had a blast too and said he favorite was the motorcyles!! Already looking forward to next year!!

Snowcones and friends...

After school one day, the kids and I met some friends at Snow Biz. Diane Bond from Bella Vie was there taking pictures. Here are the pictures she took of Vaiden, Whitten, and Mary Katharine. It was a fun day and the pictures were really cute!!

Last weekend, Vaiden wasn't feeling well before church, so Mary Katharine and I stayed home with him. I had Vaiden help me try to take some pictures of Mary Katharine and he begged me to let him hold her and have their picture taken together. Vaiden is such THE big brother and he is quite the protector!!
