Fair Fun!!

Fifteen years ago, October 6th, 1995, Michael and I had our first date to the MS State Fair. We always make a special effort to go each year especially now since we have children. My parents and sister, Katharine, went with us this year. Vaiden loves for G-Daddy to ride the bumper cars with him!! And Katharine always takes them to see the weird things hiding in the tents, i.e. the snake woman!!

Vaiden was tall enough to ride anything he wanted this year. He rode the Freak Out with me and said he liked it, but his facial expressions during the ride said otherwise!! I held his leg and tried curling my foot around his, so he would feel a little more safe...but I think he was totally freaking out inside!! That was one of his first rides, so all the others in the "kiddie" section seemed very boring to him after the Freak Out. His favorite again this year was the log ride. He loved getting wet, but really liked getting the unexpected passerby soaked!! Whitten had a blast too and said he favorite was the motorcyles!! Already looking forward to next year!!
