Our 9th Anniversary!!

It has been a great 9 years with the love of my life!! I am so blessed to have Michael by my side to share this life with. He is such a great man, father, and husband!! I love you honey and happy anniversary!!

Happy Father's Day...

I want to wish my own Daddy, Giddie, and Father-in-law a Happy Father's Day today!!

As for us here, we are celebrating Father's Day for our Daddy. Michael is an amazing Dad and husband. Both of his boys look up to him so much. Michael works so hard and when he steps out of his truck in the afternoons he automatically becomes Daddy...no breaks!! I am so proud of the man I married 9 years ago and I am so thankful that my children have him as a DADDY:)

We celebrated Father's Day on Saturday. We let Michael sleep in~his favorite!! Vaiden and I made him blueberry muffins-Vaiden choose the heart-shape. The boys and I woke him up and handed him his breakfast, and before Michael could grab a muffin of his own, the boys each had one. Michael laughed and said you might want to get me another one. So I brought 2 more...the boys grabbed those as well and ate them quick. Needless to say, we then moved breakfast to the table:)

British Soccer Camp

Vaiden attended soccer camp last week and had a blast. He learned alot about soccer, but as you can see from the pictures...he is still running and smiling:) He just loves being out there "playing" with his buddies!!

Summer Fun...

With the weather so hot, we have being going to the pool often. Here are a couple of pics when Daddy got to go with us!!

Great visits...

My grandparents were in town for a couple of days and we spent some great time together. My boys adore them both as do I. Here is a picture from our visit...

We also met up with the Chisolm family as well. We had dinner at Chick fil-a and let the kids run wild. I think we were there for 2 hours. Great times...

Playing at the Renaissance...

The Renaissance Mall in Ridgeland has the best little water fountain courtyard. My mom and I took the boys on a hot day to let them play. My mom didn't think Whitten would like it, but as you can see from the pictures...he loved it!! A great way to keep cool in this summer heat!!

When we go to my parents house for a visit, we always have to visit with our "old" friends as well. Last week when we were there, we enjoyed a day swimming with Kelly and Katherine. It was so much fun. We got to the pool mid morning and played in the pool all day!! We did the same thing last year before we moved and I am posting the pictures from this year and last...boy these children grow up so fast!!

~The Priestley Home~

My brother has been house sitting the Priestley home and loving every minute of it!! I grew up next door to this magnificent house and the memories that me and my family have are priceless. Mrs. Lee lived in this house when I was a little girl and she adored this house as do we. Trey has been house sitting and babysitting the dogs that live there now. So when I was in town last week, we went swimming. Here are a couple of pics from that week...

Family Wedding

Michael's brother, Jason, got married the first weekend in June. He and Mallie had a beautiful wedding!! Michael was the best man and he was proud to stand next to his little brother. Vaiden and Whitten were the ring bearers. Vaiden stood next to Michael like a big boy. He did get a little bored during the ceremony though and tried to blow out the candles (the table full behind us in this picture)!! Whitten cried walking down the aisle, but did make it and once he found me he was quiet and still during the ceremony...a bag full of Frosted Flakes helped him be still:)!! Happy Marriage Jason and Mallie!!

VBS for Vaiden

Vaiden went to VBS a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. At the end of the week, they had a small singing program for the parents to attend. It was so fun watching him sing...he did a great job!! He loved VBS and is still singing his songs!!

Vaiden's swimming lessons

Vaiden has been taking swimming lessons at Maley's since he was 9 months old. He loves to swim and to take lessons. He had a great summer last year and was swimming on his own. I was worried that he had forgotten it all this year, so I signed him up for a 2 week class at Maley's. Whitten and I got to see Vaiden swim the first week and then Vaiden got to stay with my parents all by himself for the second week. He had a crowd watch him everyday!! Sittie, G-Daddy, KK, Daddy, Whitten, and I were all in attendence at once point throughout his 2 week lesson. Vaiden did great and really picked up where he left off last summer. I am so happy to see him doing so well. I look forward to a great summer at the pool:)

We visited my parents a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. While we were in town, we visited with some friends. We met Katherine at Chick Fila one day and she and Vaiden couldn't get enough of each other...it was really cute!! On another day, we picked Sims up from school in the middle of the day and took the boys to the park. Vaiden and Sims were so happy to see each other and really loved playing together at the park. Then we met Mac at the church playground and let he and Whitten run around. They were too cute "lovin" on each other!! The boys were so happy to see their friends and it made for a great week!! We hope to come back before the summer is over!!
